ComtronICS is an Authorized Motorola 2-Way Radio dealer since 1993, offering the most experienced source for Motorola Radio Communication products and services in the central Kentucky area.
In business since 1980, ComtronICS provides wireless equipment and systems, specializing in wireless voice communication for industrial and public service use. ComtronICS achieved the coveted Motostar excellence rating in 2006 and 2008.
Profiles
David grew up in Flemingburg KY where his family owned a department store since the early 1900′s. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Journalism & Advertising. With retail in his blood, in 1980, he founded ComtronICS. David is an avid skier and traveler, with a great fondness for The Great Lebowski, from which comes his favorite quote: “Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you.”
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP, Deby has 30 years experience in graphic design and product engineering. She has been involved with ComtronICS in a variety of capacities since its inception. Her interests include historical architectural research, jewelry design, creative writing, home renovation and gardening.
Originally from Whitestown IN, Wendy has a sparkling outgoing personality. She has been with the company since 2004. Her interests include ghost hunting and amateur photography. Wendy believes you should be good to those who are good to you, whether family, friends or at work.
Melissa grew up in Memphis TN, where she studied Criminal Justice Telecommunications. Her interests include paranormal investigation and traveling with family. Favorite quote: “Success is the abiity to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.”–Sir Winston Churchill.
Melinda is from Lexington KY and has a degree in Business. Her interests include gardening and scrapbooking. A friendly person, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Charles is from Lexington KY, and has degrees in both Finance and Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He is interested in real estate, cars and motorcycles. The best way to go through life?–”be nice to everyone”.
Gerald has been with our company for many years as the go-to guy for all kinds of technical issues. His hobbies include collecting radios, antique bottles and model trains. His philosophy of life? “I just take things one day at a time.”
